iGEM saw 285 teams compete in 2015. No team has ever participated from Pakistan. Not anymore!

iGEM is the Intentional Genetically Engineered Machines competition organized annually by the iGEM Foundation. Undergraduates from across the world undertake summer projects in synthetic biology and then gather in Boston, USA to showcase their work and compete for gold, silver and bronze medals.

iGEM saw 285 teams compete in 2015. No team has ever participated from Pakistan. Not anymore! iGEM Peshawar was the first team from Pakistan to participate and has done us proud by winning a Bronze Medal.

We will be opening the call for applications for the next iGEM Peshawar team very soon. Sign up to be the first to hear about updates and be part of our community.
